Solution and Approach
As part of the solution, Vigilant proposed the use of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) as the end state. The following services were leveraged:
- Oracle Database Cloud Service, for customer’s EBS DR database
- OCI Compute Classic, for customer’s EBS DR application and non-production instances
- Oracle Database Backup Service, for customer’s EBS production database RMAN backups
- Oracle Storage Cloud Service, for customer’s non-Oracle offsite backups, replacing CommVault
- Corente VPN, for connecting multiple customer sites to Oracle Cloud
